untitled part 3b: (as if) beauty never ends…

In this video essay about dystopia in contemporary times, Jayce Salloum presents raw footage documenting the 1982 massacre of the Sabra and Shatila refugee camp in Lebanon. Working directly, viscerally, and metaphorically, untitled part 3b provides an elegiac response to the Palestinian dispossession.

Part of untitled, a series of projects addressing social and political realities and representations, manifestations, and enunciations, focusing on borders/nationalisms/ movements and subjectivity and the conditions of living between polarities of culture, geography, history, and ideology.
