Viva Frelimo

This film shows the development of the Frelimo party during Mozambique's struggle for independence from Portugal. Traveling throughout Northern Mozambique with several of the provincial leaders including the late Samora Machel, the filmmakers capture details of life in the liberated areas. The film focuses on Frelimo's efforts to re-educate the people to be self-reliant fighters against exploitation and foreign domination.
